Parent Participation

An important aspect contributing to the success of our school is parental involvement.  One of the reasons why we can continue to offer small classes and quality education at a reasonable price is because we work together as a community. Everyone’s assistance is essential in many more tasks than what appears on the list provided by the administration.

The parent participation commitment is a minimum of 10 hours per month, 2 hours of which are mandatory playground monitoring (lunch/recess). If you cannot participate in the two hours of lunch duty a month a $180 fee will be assessed so that we can hire someone in your place, as having enough monitors is essential in keeping the students safe.

We have several areas that parents can be matched with: Classroom TA's, Cleaning Committee, Setup and Tear down Committee, Chapel Committee, Worship Team Leader, Field Trips Committee, Fundraising Committee along with lunch and recess monitors.


MANDATORY AND SUPPLEMENTAL PARENT MEETINGS

The school holds 3 mandatory meetings for the parents throughout the year in August, January and May. There is a $30 fee for missing these meetings.
